Alright I know this may be obvious but as a girl I think the worst think that a guy has done to me is break up with me over the phone! Guys, if you are going to break up with a girl that you have been going steady with for a while the least you could do is show them enough respect to do it face to face! Be a man...anyways I guess I'm still sort of bitter about that

... but really, don't do stuff over the phone or online.

I wouldn't do it on AIM or a TXT message but I have broken up with a girl on the phone. I know it was pretty **** of me to do it on the phone but it was just easier.

A 'friend' of mine has broke up with his girl by TXT recently...tsk tsk some people.

Face to Face is the least everyone should do. People think in different pattens though so it aint always so easy to convince them.

Yeah, AIM or a text message is probably the worse you can do...maybe besides a collect call.

It just shows you have no respect for the other person, and you're cowering out by not doing it face to face.

I think guys are afraid to do it in person, because some girls' reation can be rather fearful. I've seen people freak out, get slapped, beat up, etc. But i agree, though it might not be the most fun way (for a guy) to break it off, doing it in person is probably the best way.

haha maybe someday I'll have to try that one. But that must suck to get broken up with a txt. I would probably break my phone or something and then regret it later.

I did it over AIM once in 8th grade. I feel bad about it now but I really didn't like her.
