When helping a friend goes bad

What do you do when you try to help a friend, sometimes even by their request - recommend them a job to try, for example - but then things do not go very well, and they blame you for it?

If you are feeling guilty you need to realize it is not your fault and do not allow their words to hurt your feelings or make you feel guilty

I have learned in life that sometimes it is best NOT to help a friend.

In an effort to help, we sometimes tend to overlook whether what we have to offer is what is really best for them.

It might be time to step back for a few and re-evaluate the situation.

I don't understand why you say this. Surley, we should always be prepared to help a friend if we can??
