| Losing a beloved
I guess only the people who have pets would understand this. I just lost my 2 year old dog. I am going to another city to live alone and work and my parents can't keep him, generally. I had to give him away to a relative where I can't even visit him much. I miss him so much. I wonder how I'd ever get over him.

It will get easier as time passes. I am a breeder and when the six week old babies are ready to leave my home it is hard, but I know they went to a good home and I know that i have made someone else happy. |

Yes, who says a beloved is a person. Dogs are not called "man's best friend" for no reason. We have so much more in common than there are differences. I've had my loyal dog for over 10 years now. She has been with me through thick and then - we have shared sooo much together. Luckily she is active and healthy. But the future , when she gets frail, does worry me. |
