Hints?

Well I've been friends with this girl for a couple weeks, I met her at prom where she was my friends date. The thing is she was into her date, but my friend told her he doesn't like her, and after that we've started talking more and I think she somewhat digs me though the thing is I don't know how to read off some of the things she says to me, like if she is just being friendly or if she is dropping hints that she likes me.

Someone please tell me, what hints should I be looking for that she likes me - and if she does, what should I do? Thanks!

Iono she tells me stuff like "you're awesome" and that "i'm the best" all the time. Iono its weird on IM I usually have to IM her first but sometimes she'll IM me and we always talk and just joke around. I guess I can't even really think of any more tangible hints - maybe I'm just being delusional hoping she likes me ugh...

Hmm, well wether she likes you or not you can still try and make her like you.

It's hard to say that if she likes any more than a friend, so I can't really say.

Just talk to her more and more, let her know more of you.

If you like her, why don't you just let her know? See what she says? Why stress yourself over "hints"? What's the worst that could happen? She could say she only likes you as a friend. Better to know now and move on rather than later when you've become attached and everything is all that much harder. Best case scenario, she says she likes you too and you guys move on from there and you no longer have to try and decipher hints.

April, I'm thinking I don't want to jump the gun. I'm thinking if we keep talking more and more eventually she might start to like me - but if I let her know now it'll be too early and then things will be weird. What do you think?

Worst case scenario is she says no and you guys are still friends, unless shes a total bitch like this one girl I used to talk to.

Well you already think she is giving you hints, and you said you like her right? I say go for it, you don't have anything to lose. And like I said, worst case scenario she just wants to stay friends, no biggie. So yea I think you should just go for it.

What about telling one of her friends that I like her and then hoping it gets back to her? I think it'll seem really awkward coming from me.
