Why do girls wanna know how many sex partners you've had?

as a guy, i don't want to know how many partners a girl has had, especially if the numbers can get up into the double digits?

for its kinda a turn off if we're comparing numbers. when it comes to numbers though, (without knowing the guys name, & how many different partners it was with), i'd just like to how orgasms you'd produce in one session, before me.

anyways.

I don't know...in my experience, girls try to avoid that conversation more than the guy does.

yeah, i try to avoid it, but it definately needs to be said before any sex acts occur. personally, i feel like i need to know so that i can know what i'm getting myself into, as far as potential risk goes.

I dont agree with this at all. I like knowing simply because like Kayla said, I want to know what I'm getting myself into, or IF I want to get involved. There is no "wrong" answer. Also I prefer to get invovled with someone who is going to be honest when it comes to stuff like that and not try to beat around the bush.

i suppose that it would be ok to share frequency, ie how many times a day, as opposed to the number of partners.

for me it would be kinda a turn off if for example you were 26 years old and had about 16 different partners (this is just a pure example).

well you know there are other avenues that you could pursue in order to get where your going.

I think its a good idea for both guys and girls to find out how many previous sexual partners their partner has had. It is something best put out in the open and not hidden because it can cause trouble/jealousy/shock later. It is good for safety reasons when it comes to STIs, and helps emotionally.

in the end i just what to know their sexual experience, i'm not so much into how they got to where they are with me...

the other thing is,.. i'd like to know when the last test for STDs was.

the number of partners shouldn't really matter. wheather he/she slept with 1 or 100 people. the thing i want to know is when was the last STD test done
