Being raised from a Roman-Catholic family, I was always taught to love God for everything he has given us. In the last few years of my high school career, I was sent away to a military school were I didnt see much of my girlfriend or my family, except for breaks or when my girlfriend drove down from new jersey to virginia just to see me. Anyway, at this point, I started getting really lonely and depressive. I mean yeah, I had friends here, but it wasnt the same being away from home for so long with so many restrictions. Returning home was the best thing ever for me, and i decided to joing the church chorus. It was so amazing, I loved it, and I enjoyed using my talent to praise God. Now, I feel strong with my religions and I feel like I can talk to God whenever and He will always be there for me. Without God in my life, or the love of Jesus for us, I dont think I could make it through some rough times. I know that my Grandfathers are in heaven now play chess or something with God. Haha, yeah. Oh and God is jamaican and into Rasta. Hes pretty cool actually. |

That's not to say I haven't had my fair share of bad times because BELIEVE ME I have. But if you're happy with your faith then I'm happy for you. I hope you (and other deeply religious people) are happy for me and my lack of faith. It should all be about respect shouldn't it? Last edited by Victory Rose; 01-26-2006 at 12:00 PM.. | |
