Stepfather Problems...

I am living with my mother and stepfather my stepfather and i have never been close, my mom has thought about leaving him many times because of the way he treats me, he yells at me for stupid things and threatens to kick me out of the house because he thinks im lazy and wont do anything, yes im 19 i dropped out of college because i felt like i needed to go to another college and pursue a different major and i plan on doing so, i came home during november and havent been able to get a job due to the holidays and i have been trying to get a job really hard but my stepfather just doesnt see this, he doesnt beleive it and wont listen to me at all when i try to convince him otherwise... we got into an arguement recently and mom and i were planning on moving but now she doesnt want to... everytime he yells at me i stay calm and talk in a civilized manner i try to get him to quit yelling because i wont listen when he yells but he never listens to me... I'm tired of putting up with the neverending battle between he and i but i fear it will never end, i still plan on going to college and im trying to get a temporary job until then but i dont think i can put up with it if he continues to yell at me from time to time, i avoid him as much as possible and i cant move out... what do i do?

Any type of violence is wrong but violence can only die out by violence. In this case, it's verbal abuse. Think about it.
