Post condoms locked away

I got my planned parenthood newsletter, normally i just delete it, but i decided to take a look this time. I read an article that had upset me. (http://www.plannedparenthood.org/pp2...ndomaccess.xml) I don't know if I'm just overreacting, but what they've been doing really made me mad. I think if the issue is stealing, they should have plastic lids over them, so that when you lift it up, it makes a dinging sound every other second, like with most of the expensive medical items. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

The grocery stores where I grew up all lock up condoms as well as pregnancy tests and vaginal yeast infection medicine. Our local Wal-Mart makes all of this available on the shelves. I never gave it much thought other than annoyance, but I guess for people who are more shy or more sensitive to lectures and such, this would be a big problem.

I remember my best friend in high school tried to buy condoms at one of the grocery stores and they carded her for them and refused to sell them to her because she was under 18. That ticked me off more than anything because it certainly isn't illegal to sell condoms to people under 18 and they had no business carding her for it.
