I had this guy at work who had asked me out. I had a boyfriend, and I told him so upfront, saying that I was not interested. The coworker said it was fine and continued to be friendly; we'd chit-chat once in a while, no flirting or anything like that though. He asked me to go to a cafe, just as friends. We did. My boyfriend knew about it and did not mind. Then it turned out that the coworker guy thought he had successfully won me over! He started acting like as if we were dating and was rather angry when I reminded him that we only went to the cafe as friends, and I was about to get married since my boyfriend had just proposed to me.

You don't need lame guys like that around you. Many guys take a girl for granted if she is just being friendly. Just tell her a firm and even rude NO if he acts crazy again.
